We enjoyed a mostly sunny Wednesday thanks to a ridge of high pressure that is going to settle right over our region tonight and then move south of us on Thursday. Once again we can look forward to mostly sunny skies Thursday and temperatures should be a few degrees warmer than they were on Wednesday. By Friday the high will be farther to our south setting up a southwesterly wind that should transport some mild air into our region. Look for a mix of sunshine and clouds that day with temperatures reaching the low and mid 40s. A cold front will move through late in the day followed by a ridge of high pressure. The high is expected to build into our region on Saturday delivering another sunny day with cooler temperatures. On Sunday the high will move off to the northeast and give way to an area of low pressure and right now it appears we stand a good chance of seeing some light snow for the second half of the weekend. This is going to be the start of an extended stretch of unsettled weather that could last into Wednesday and result in a mix of snow, sleet and rain.
