A cold front is going to move through our region tonight. Out ahead of the front rain is likely along with pockets of freezing rain where temperatures remain at or below freezing. Once the front goes by the wind will shift into the northwest bringing an end to the precipitation as drier air gets transported into New England. Any early morning clouds should give way to increasing amounts of sunshine on Tuesday as a ridge of high pressure builds in from the west. With colder air pouring in I expect the warmest temperatures to occur by 1 PM. High pressure will then take control of our weather bringing several days of fair weather that should keep things rather quiet right into the weekend. It will start out rather chilly on Wednesday with a slight warming trend later in the week.
