Two Easton men arrested for stealing chemistry equipment

EASTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Two men have been arrested in the Aroostook County town of Easton, charged with stealing chemistry equipment from the high school.

The burglary had been reported after officials in Easton noticed a large number of glass test tubes had been stolen from the chemistry lab.

After an investigation, State Police arrested Tim Rooney, from the town of Fort Fairfield, for Burglary and Theft.

Police also arrested Erik Lamoreau, from Easton. He'll be charged with possession of stolen property and violating the conditions of release.

Police say more charges may be coming as they continue their investigation.
