Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Today will be beautiful with high temperatures making it into the upper 40s and low 50s. It will be mostly sunny today with a light wind out of the south. Tonight will cool off into the low to mid 30s with mostly clear skies.
If you wake up early to do some shopping make sure you leave time to warm up the car because some areas will certainly see frost. Tomorrow will warm up though into the upper 40s and lower 50s again. It will be mostly sunny during the day then we'll see increasing clouds as we head into the evening.
By Saturday afternoon a cold front will make it's way through our area bringing clouds and showers with it. Some of the showers will come in the form of snow and some will be rain. Higher elevations can expect the snow showers. It doesn't look like much of an accumulation since the front will move through rather quickly.
After the front, much cooler temperatures for Sunday and for the beginning of next week. We are watching a potential storm for Wednesday that could bring some rain and snow with some accumulation possible. We will keep you updated as it gets closer.
Mariners should also be aware of a Small Craft Advisory for today. Seas will be at 5-8 feet with winds out of the south at around 5 knots.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving Day. See you tomorrow morning.
