FREEPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Maine's famous colors of Fall are attracting people and keeping the tourism industry humming long after the summer exodus.
They usually come by the bus load and stay for several days. People who want see first hand what they've long heard about, the beauty of Autumn in Maine.
We caught up with some passengers on a trip here from Tennessee.
"I just like the cool air, this time of year. It's the feel of Fall in the air, I just like that", said Billy Francis who was visiting Freeport from Tennessee.
Officials with the Maine Inn keepers Association say members are reporting a strong fall season with bookings stretching into the end of October.
