A warm front moved up the east coast today bringing increasing cloudiness and even a few showers to parts of southern New Hampshire. This front is expected to stall just south of New England tonight and sit there on Wednesday. Meanwhile a small ridge of high pressure is going to set up just north of Maine on Wednesday and this scenario promises to bring different sky conditions depending on your location. Most of New Hampshire and southwestern Maine should see mostly cloudy skies Wednesday with locations north and east of Augusta enjoying partial sunshine. Where the sun comes out temperatures will reach the low 70s. On Thursday the warm front will finally move northward bringing a round of showers to all locations. A weak ridge of high pressure should bring fair and mild weather on Friday. This will be the last warm day because a cold front is expected to move through our region late on Friday bringing cooler air in for Saturday. A second cold front will follow on Saturday and behind this front some really chilly air is in the cards for next week.
