PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Three Portland businesses are back open after passing a health inspection Saturday.

The Porthole, the Comedy Connection, and Harbour's Edge Banquet Hall had all failed a health inspection earlier this week, but a spokesperson for the city said all three businesses are back open and resuming normal operations as of Sunday.

All three businesses are on the Portland waterfront and share a kitchen and food liscense.  A city inspector issued a report earlier this week and cited a "serious rat infestation" and flies on the food, among other violations.  The inspector investigated all three businesses after receiving a complaint.
