BLUE HILL, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A 31-year-old Deer Isle man was struck and killed Saturday while walking on Water Street in Blue Hill.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Department says Andrew Ray was hit around 4:30 a.m. Saturday by 29-year-old Kimberly Phelan who was driving on Water Street.
Ray was taken to Blue Hill Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Department was assisted by Maine State Police while responding to the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
