WATERFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A home on Sweden Road in Waterford was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning.

Waterford Fire Chief Adrien Morin says the call came in for the fire around 1 a.m. Sunday.  Crews from several nearby communities responded and found the home fully engulfed in flames upon arrival.

Chief Morin says several people were home at the time, but everyone was able to make it out of the home safely and there were no injuries.

The house is considered a total loss, and the cause of the fire has not been determined due to the extent of the damage.
