ALFRED, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Good Shepherd Food Bank is focusing it's efforts on low income seniors as it expands it's Food Mobile Program.

Once a month, the food mobile, which typically stops at places like the York County Food Pantry, will go to senior housing complexes and other places that older Mainers gather.

Seniors can learn about how to use the fresh fruits, vegetables and meats that Good Shepherd provides in the truck through cooking demonstrations and recipes. For now, the Senior Food Mobiles are only stopping in York County.
