LEBANON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Game Wardens and State police are investigating an ATV accident in Lebanon.
A man was seriously injured in the crash. Lebanon Rescue says it happened in a private sand pit in the area of Blaisdell Corner Road and Hubbard Road around 9:30 last night.
When they arrived, they found the ATV rider, a 39 year old man from Lebanon, on the ground, unconscious.
Investigators believe the man was riding his 4 wheeler when he rolled it over and possibly struck a rock. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The man was airlifted to Maine Medical Center.
