(NBC) -- An Arizona family has pulled of a "mega-wedding".
All five siblings from the Waldie family of Mesa tied the knot in a single ceremony on Friday.
The concept was first mentioned as a joke within the family after all five Waldie children became engaged within a two month span.
That joke quickly became a practical solution to planning nightmare and financial impact of five separate ceremonies.
Following the wedding ceremony more than a thousand people showed up to the reception at the Air Force museum.
