It took all weekend but the cold front that was over western New York Saturday morning finally moved east of us by this morning. Calling it a cold front is really a stretch because the air behind the front wasn't exactly what you would call arctic and the humidity didn't drop much either. There is a weak ridge of high pressure that will build across our region tonight and this should make for slightly cooler and more comfortable temperatures. The high is going to move east of us on Tuesday with an area of low pressure on its heels. The low will bring increasing cloudiness late Tuesday and a good chance for some showers on Wednesday. In addition to the low we also have a cold front moving our way and this feature is expected to reach us on Thursday bringing the threat of showers or thunderstorms. Yet another front is going to move our way late Friday into Saturday. Throughout all this we can expect above normal temperatures and humidity. The models are hinting at some cooler and drier air for Sunday. Let's hope the models are not fantasizing.
