STANDISH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Nearly two months ago, Richville Chapel in the town of Standish was burglarized and burned in an arson. Police say it was two teens who set the fire. But through the loss, the congregation has been able to find a new foundation.

The church site has been cleared and the new foundation is in place. Pastor Greg Martin says, "if all goes well, They're bringing in the trusses for the cap on top and then once the floors down they're going to start raising the walls."

The congregation has continued Sunday service at the Richville Library down the street. Pastor Martin says he has received offers to fill the new church with donations.

To help the Richville Chapel, a Clink fund has been set up at the Standish Hannaford.

The members hope to have service in the new chapel by Thanksgiving.
