A weak ridge of high pressure brought us some nice weather to start the work week and should do the same on Tuesday. An approaching frontal system will probably put more clouds in the sky but I'm not expecting much in the way of precipitation. The front is never really going to reach us as it just kind of falls apart well to our west. An area of low pressure will also miss us as it scoots northeastward on Wednesday so outside of a few scattered showers the middle of the week is looking pretty dry as well. The humidity is expected to start climbing on Thursday giving us a better chance for afternoon showers or thunderstorms. This will be the trend for Friday and the upcoming weekend so it appears the dog days of August are right on time this year.
