If you were looking for the sun today your best bet was to be in far northern locations. Unfortunately for just about everybody else we ended the weekend with periods of rain and plenty of clouds. The stationary front responsible for the dreary weather will finally start to head on out tonight, and high pressure will be taking it's place for the start of the work week giving us the return of sunshine.

Tonight - Evening showers will dissipate and finally end all together around midnight. The trend through the overnight hours will be partially clearing skies. Winds will be light and dew point values are still up there so some areas of fog will develop. Lows will mostly be in the mid to upper 50s.

Monday - Partly sunny skies during the early morning hours give way to sunshine. It looks like a good beach day once the morning clouds clear. Temperatures will be coolest at the coast due to a sea breeze. The mountains and far northern locations will have a little more clouds cover with a few scattered showers popping up during the afternoon.

Monday Night - Clear to partly cloudy skies, light winds, and lows in the 50s.

Extended Forecast - Another nice day on Tuesday with sunny skies and comfortable conditions. The humid conditions start to creep back in for the end of the work week. With the humidity also comes the chance of scattered thunderstorm activity Wednesday and Thursday. More widespread showers and thunderstorm activity will be on Friday.
