BUCKSPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bucksport Public Safety officials say a train derailment Sunday afternoon has shut down part of Route 15 in Bucksport.

The road is currently shut down between the Verso Paper Mill and Town Farm Road in Bucksport.  Dispatchers say the call came in just after noon time Sunday for a train that had derailed carrying paper products from the Verso Paper Mill.  No injuries were reported, and there were no hazardous materials that were spilled.

The Bucksport Police and Fire Departments and railroad officials are on scene repairing the tracks.  It is unclear at this time when the road will be back open to traffic.
