We still have a front stalled to our south this weekend. An area of low pressure riding along this front will be the focus of some periods of rain later tonight and into tomorrow. Some of the rain could contain some heavy downpours. The focus of the heavy rain tonight will be mostly over New Hampshire and western parts of Maine. The rain will then move into eastern Maine for the morning hours as the low slowly moves into the Gulf of Maine. An east wind will keep plenty of moisture and clouds in place tomorrow. More showers and thunderstorms are expected to pop up during the afternoon.
Things start to clear out precipitation wise Sunday night. Brighter skies are on the way for the start of the work week. Monday and Tuesday will feature a good amount of sunshine and less humid conditions. The humidity returns Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and so does the chance of afternoon thunderstorm activity.
