BANGOR, Maine (AP) - Police say a man was removed from a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Bangor after a comment he made about the Colorado theater shootings while buying tickets for the show.
The man was not carrying any weapons and was not charged after the Wednesday night incident. His name was not released.
The Bangor Daily News, citing a police report, said while purchasing tickets to a later showing of the movie, the man - who was with his daughter - asked at what point during the film last week's shooting rampage in Aurora, Colo., occurred.
The comment alarmed staff at the Bangor Mall Cinemas, who called police.
When the man later returned for the movie, police located him inside the theater and escorted him out. He was given a full refund for his tickets.
