Hopefully you had a chance to enjoy today's sunny skies because I don't see much sunshine in our weather picture for the next couple of days. An area of low pressure that was located near Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon is expected to track eastward over the next 36 hours and move right through southern New Hampshire on Thursday. Clouds will be on the increase tonight with showers moving our way for Thursday. A few thunderstorms are possible as well. The low should be east of us by Friday morning but unfortunately there is no ridge of high pressure behind it to clear us out. Instead it appears that a stationary front will set up over southern New England keeping us in the clouds. Weak disturbances on the front will kick off rounds of showers as they move by to our south. The front is going to take its time moving away from us so more showers are possible on Saturday. Right now Sunday is looking to be the better of the two weekend days because by then the front should be long gone.
