If you don't have an air conditioner in your bedroom chances are you had a hard time getting comfortable last night as temperatures didn't cool down below 70 degrees in many locations. I'm happy to say that tonight is going to be an entirely different story because drier air has been filtering into our region today and will continue to do so tonight. I expect temperatures to drop into the 50s tonight so you should have no problem cooling down the house once the sun sets. A ridge of high pressure will be dropping down out of Canada over the next few days and it promises to bring us a stretch of very nice weather. Thursday, Friday and Saturday will feature mostly sunny skies with comfortable temperatures and humidity levels. The high will move east of us on Sunday so the humidity should start to rise that day and by Monday the muggy air will be back along with a good chance for showers or thunderstorms.
