ORONO, Maine (NEWS CENTER)--Last year a photographer in Eastern Maine challenged himself to take one portrait a day for an entire year. The project wrapped up on July 13th.

After 365 days and 365 portraits, Tony Llerena's camera shutter finally stopped snapping. Llerena says the experience taught him to be prepared, break out of his comfort zone and take things a day at a time.

He finished the challenge with a self portrait at the top of Mount Katahdin.
