A cold front tried to make its way through Maine and New Hampshire today but ran out of gas before it could do so. This means we can look forward to a warm and humid night tonight and yet another hot and sticky day on Tuesday. There is one more cold front in central Canada right now and this one is expected to make a run at us late Tuesday. It stands a better chance of moving through our region although it probably will take its time doing so. Showers and thunderstorms will accompany the front and there is a chance for some severe weather late Tuesday into Tuesday evening. The computer models are placing the front right along the Maine coast Wednesday morning and from here it will slowly work its way southward. Cooler and drier air should arrive here Wednesday night and right now Thursday and Friday are looking very pleasant.
