If you were looking for some relief from the hot and humid conditions the coast was the place to be today! A sea breeze helped to hold temps back into the 70s. Inland locations still had another sticky day, but there was at least a breeze to add a little relief.

Our weather maker tonight will be a weak cold front passing through northern New England. Showers and thunderstorms will spread through the state during the overnight hours. Some of these storm could contain some heavy downpours. Showers will still linger Monday morning in northern and eastern Maine. We will then see clearing west to east during the day with just a few isolated showers popping up during the afternoon.

Tuesday will be another humid day with sunny skies for much of the day. More clouds will move in mid afternoon, and some showers and storms will start to approach late in the day. Wednesday will be a transition day as the drier air attempts to heads our way. Skies will be partly cloudy and we could see a few isolated showers. Finally by Thursday things will feel less humid. It looks gorgeous! Sunny skies and comfortable conditions continue right through next weekend.
