We were off to a pretty sticky start to the weekend today. Many towns had temps top out around 90 degrees. Millinocket actually had a record setting day with a high of 94! Some scattered thunderstorms started to pop up during the afternoon hours, and that will be the same scenario over the next couple days. Hot and humid conditions continue into the middle part of next week. By late Wednesday and Thursday it should feel much more comfortable outside.
Tonight - Evening showers and storms come to an end. Skies will clear, winds will be light, and lows will only drop into the 60s.
Sunday - Another hot and humid day. Skies will be sunny through the morning. We will start to see scattered showers and thunderstorms develop during the afternoon. Some of these storms could contain heavy rain. Highs will be in the 80s/low 90s. Coolest conditions found at the coast.
Sunday Night - Mostly cloudy, scattered showers, lows in the 60s.
Extended Forecast - Hot and humid through Wednesday with the chance of scattered thunderstorms each day during the afternoon. By Thursday things will feel MUCH more comfortable and it will be gorgeous! Sunny and comfortable conditions continue right through Saturday.
