CHINA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man inside his home in the Kennebec County town of China.
State Police Spokesman Steve McCausland says 38-year-old James Dodge died at an Augusta hospital Friday night after being taken there by ambulance.
State Police say they were called to the home on 324 Hanson Road at about 9 p.m. Friday. Three other people were inside the home at the time. Police have interviewed all of them and they have been cooperating with the investigation.
No charges have been filed at this point and police remain on scene Saturday investigating.
An autopsy on Dodge's body is expected to take place Sunday at the State Medical Examiner's office in Augusta.
