TURNER, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A 46-year-old Minot woman was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck in Turner Friday afternoon.

Police say Susan Fortier was turning from Conant Road onto Route 4 near the former Chick-a-Dee restaurant when she was hit by a pickup truck around 2:00 p.m.

Daniel Chabot, the driver of the pickup, says he didn't see Fortier's car because a tractor trailer turning at the same time obscured his view.  Police say Chabot was not injured. 

Fortier was pronounced dead at the scene.
