BRUNSWICK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A multi-alarm fire in Brunswick Friday afternoon had crews battling flames for several hours. The fire broke out shortly before 4 p.m. at a large farmhouse on Coombs Road.
Crews from Brunswick, Bath, Topsham, Lisbon, Freeport, Yarmouth, South Portland and Cumberland were called in to respond to the fire.
One firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion. We're told the fire started around a dryer vent. Everyone in the house got out safely and there were no reports of any injuries.
