Portland, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Some tense moments in a Portland neighborhood off of Washington Avenue this afternoon.
Neighbors called police to report shots being fired inside a home on Marlborough Road. At first investigators say a man inside the home refused to come out. Several roads in the area were blocked off as armed police officers surrounded the home.
After a short period of time the man did surrender. Police say the man appeared to be delusional and there was a gun and evidence of shots fired inside the home.No one else was in the home at the time and no one was hurt in the incident.
Investigators are not releasing the man's name at this time. They say they're not sure yet if any charges will be filed.
