High pressure remains in control of our weather and the high extends from northern New England all way to Nebraska so we can anticipate several more days of sunshine. Temperatures have be climbing a few degrees each day and that trend should continue into the weekend. Saturday is looking quite hot with most locations reaching the low 90s. The coolest temperatures will occur near the coast so the beach will definitely be the place to be. In addition to rising temperatures we can also look forward to increasing amounts of humidity and by Sunday it should be quite muggy with dew points in the mid to upper 60s. The increased moisture will result in more cloudiness and also a chance for a few afternoon thunderstorms on Sunday and that will continue into next week.
