RYE, New Hampshire (NEWS CENTER) - Wallis Sands State Beach reopened this morning, after being closed, when a lifeguard reported spotting a 6-foot shark on Monday.
The New Hampshire Marine patrol surveyed the water by boat and by air and decided for people's safety to closed down the area.
While there are no photos-- The New England Aquarium is guessing because of the time of year and location, these beach visitors were blue sharks.
