KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Someone who paid a visit to a designer showhouse in Kennebunkport wasn't just looking. Police say thieves stole more then $40,000 worth of antiques from patios outside the home Sunday night.
A team of designers from across New England has pulled together, to replace the items at the Kenneth Roberts estate. The exhibit is will continue through this weekend, as originally planned.
The exhibit is put on by the Kennebunkport Historical Society. This is the first time the Roberts estate, known as Rocky Pastures, has been opened to the public.
