PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Portland Sea Dogs celebrated Autism Awareness Day with an autistic boy throwing out the first pitch.
There is always a guest pitcher at every home Sea Dogs Game.
Saturday some 150 people signed up to celebrate the cause and were able to sit in their own section at the park.
Karl Frost, a child with autism, was selected to throw out the first pitch.
He said it was quite a treat to be selected for the honor.
