GREENVILLE, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police in Greenville say the man who attacked a woman Wednesday night has turned himself in.

Investigators say John Johnson has a criminal record and is considered to be dangerous.

Johnson goes by the nickname "Cheeto."

The assault happened on the outskirts of town. The woman is being treated for her injuries.
