LEBANON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Lebanon Rescue Department is issuing a reward for information that helps bust whoever has been hampering and covering up the agency's emergency radio signal.
The department says that for several months now, someone with a more powerful radio has been covering up their signal... And this morning it affected a serious emergency call.
Crews needed more manpower at a medical alert and were unable to radio for help because of the interference... and because the house had no cell phone reception, emergency workers had to leave the patient to call for advanced support.
Lebanon Rescue says they will be contacting the F.C.C. Monday, and they're issuing an unspecified reward for anyone who provides a tip leading to prosecution.
