OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- State Police and Old Orchard Beach Police say the death of a man found in downtown Old Orchard Beach Saturday morning is highly suspicious.
Police say a resident who lives nearby discovered the body behind an apartment complex on Old Orchard St. around 9 A.M. Saturday.
The dead man is believed to be from Old Orchard Beach. His identify is being held pending notification of relatives.
State Police say an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday at the Maine State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta.
