BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A man from Orono was killed early Saturday morning after he crashed his motorcycle on the interstate in Bangor.
Police say the accident happened just after 1 A.M. Saturday when 58-year-old Delis Lane was traveling on I-395, attempted to merge onto the northbound on-ramp for I-95 in Bangor, and crashed his motorcycle.
Authorities say he lost control and drove off the ramp. He was ejected from the motorcycle and his body landed in the break down lane.
Police say speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
