STANDISH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A car crash early Saturday morning in Standish killed one St. Joseph's College student and injured three others.
Police say 20-year-old Clark Noonan from Bangor was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and two other passengers were also students at St. Joseph's. Police say all three sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the accident happened just after 1:30 A.M. Saturday when the car was traveling north on Chadbourne Road in Standish at a high rate of speed, lost control and veered off the road, and rolled several times before coming to a stop.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Police say no charges have been filed against the driver, but they will be working with the District Attorney's office to determine if charges are warranted.
