CINCINNATI (NBC) -- For 32 years, Schenz Theatrical Supply has provided costumes for the bunnies that hop around for the annual White House Easter Egg Hunt.
The owner, John Schenz, said it started with a request to supply a costume to fit a six-foot, three-inch frame of a Secret Service agent during Ronald Reagan's term.
Ever since, it has been a tradition.
"They put a Secret Service stamp on the costumes to get them into the White House," said Schenz.
In return for being the bunny sponsor, Schenz gets adorned baskets which he has never opened.
