BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Fire crews in York County were kept busy by two simultaneous fires Saturday morning.

The first broke out around 9:05 AM at a small family saw mill in Biddeford.

Crews say the fire broke out in one of four structures holding mill equipment.

The building was entirely destroyed.

The fire is under investigation.

The mill owner suffered minor burns that didn't require him to be taken to the hospital.

As that fire was reported, another was called in at a home on Raymond Street in Biddeford.

Crews from half a dozen nearby towns all responded.
