PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- There are plenty of people from the other side of the political spectrum who are not eager to hear from President Obama.
There are the Tea Party members and the hard line conservatives, of course, who typically have harsh words for the President. We talked with two people who say they don't have anything against him personally, they just don't like his policies.
We talked with former Maine Secretary of State Mark Gartley --who used to be a Democrat and Republican Senate leader Jon Courtney.
Both said they think President Obama's policies are hurting Maine. Courtney singled out cuts in low income heating assistance.
We asked if they'd like to go and hear the President. Courtney said he would like to be inside the fundraiser so he could ask about LIHEAP. Gartley said he wouldn't want to go, because someone might think he was supporting the President.
