PORTLAND, Maine (AP) -- Time is almost up for Occupy Maine.

Protesters have been ordered to vacate a Portland park by 8 a.m. Monday or face arrest.

The protesters busied themselves Sunday taking down tents and other structures, although they said some were frozen to the ground and will be nearly impossible to remove.

Most said they will be out of Lincoln Park as required, but some have said they have no intention of leaving and expect to be arrested. Others tell The Portland Press Herald they will set up a new camp on private land.

The camp set up in support of the national Occupy Wall Street movement to protest corporate greed and economic inequality was tolerated by city officials at first, but shut down as concerns increased about public health and safety.
