PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Occupiers in Portland have been told to pack up and move out, but that doesn't mean their anti-Wall Street message is getting any weaker.

Occupiers spent the day disassembling their tents and gathering their belongings.  The city has given occupiers until 8:00 AM on Monday to leave, and some occupiers say they don't plan on leaving quietly.  Occupiers want to rededicate Lincoln Park for everything that President Lincoln stood for.  Taking a line from the Gettysburg Address, Lincoln said, "That government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the Earth."

"On this very ground they dedicated this as a civic space for civic engagement and dialogue," Heather Curtis, an occupier, said. "We intend to hold this space, but not in the same way."

The rededication will take place on February 12th, Lincoln's birthday, at noon.  The park was first dedicated in 1909.
