BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Biddeford Police say a teenager was killed in a single car accident on West Street early Sunday morning.

19-year-old Chaz Dorais of Biddeford was a passenger in a car driven by his friend Patrick Beatson, also of Biddeford. The car and slammed into a garage at 214 West Street.

Dorais died at the scene. The homeowners were asleep at the time and were uninjured.

Beatson suffered non-life threatening injuries.
