SCARBOROUGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A college student from Maine is getting a lot of attention for an article she wrote about welfare reform.
Christine Rouselle writes for "The College Conservative," a blog about conservative issues written by students. She recently wrote an article about her time working at Walmart, and what she describes as serious abuses of the welfare system by some of the shoppers. Since Tuesday, the article has gone viral with hundreds of thousands of views online, and more than ten thousand shares on Facebook.
