Maine company shows how it saved a life
NORTH MONMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A company in North Monmouth showed off its life saving product today.
Last summer, Malin Reynolds, an Idaho Falls police officer, was taking a man into custody for an outstanding warrant. The suspect resisted and shot Reynolds with a gun at point blank range.
Reynolds didn't die, in fact, he wasn"t even injured. Reynolds was wearing a bullet-proof vest made of material from a local Maine company.
Employees of Textech of North Monmouth recognized Reynolds today, as a "first survivor" while wearing their product.
