WESTBROOK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Dancers from Westbrook will be performing in front of a few more people than they typically do this holiday season.

Six dancers from the Drouin Dance Center will join hundreds of other dancers from across the country to perform in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.  The girls leave for New York on Saturday, but before then, they need to make sure their choreography is extra sharp so they can stand out from the rest of the group.

"It's like everyone's worst nightmare to be doing the wrong step," Whitney Wallace, a dancer, said. "Everyone else is down, you have your arm up or something, but I think we'll all be great."

The dancers are making sure they bring their best smiles with them too, because once they arrive in New York, the instructors will choose which girls get to be in front of the formations.
