Bill Bruford

BILL BRUFORD

Bill Bruford was the original drummer for the band Yes.  He also performed with Genesis and King Crimson.  Bruford later moved away from rock to concentrate on jazz and led his own jazz group, Earthworks.  Bruford published his biography in 2009, "Bill Bruford: The Autobiography."

Bruford was in Maine to take part in the "Creativity and all that Jazz" program at VTEC Training Center in Portland.  The program demonstrated how business owners and executive management can harness the creative energy found in jazz.  The program was the first in a series of seminars that VTEC has put together.
