PORTLAND, Maine (AP) -- A pair of big cruise ships are paying visits to Portland, Maine, this weekend.
The Enchantment of the Seas will visit with 2,250 passengers and 870 crew members on Saturday. From there, the Royal Caribbean International ship heads north to Bar Harbor.
On Sunday, the MV Arcadia with 1,856 passengers will visit Portland. The ship, owned by a Carnival Corporation subsidiary, started its 23-day journey in Southampton, England.
By the time the season ends, 65 ships carrying a record-setting 92,367 passengers are expected to have made stops in Portland between June and October.
