Day One, this year's charity beneficiary of the TD Bank Beach to Beacon
HOLLIS, Me (NEWS CENTER) -- Day One, Maine's primary provider of drug and alcohol abuse prevention and rehabilitation for teens and young adults, is this year's charity beneficiary for the TD Bank Beach to Beacon 10-K.
Newscenter talks with two young men who say the program is helping them beat the cycle of addiction and learn the skills to not only handle emotions in a healthy manner, but also pursue their dreams of college and careers.
We also talked with Gene Vahey, Director of Residential Programs, about how Day One will use the $50,000 dollars they were granted and/or raised in relation to Saturday's road race.
